First Post

I have recently decided that writing a blog might be sort of therapeutic. For the past six months or so I have been working on getting into five different business schools. I have already heard back from three of them (Babson, Boston College and Boston University). I was accepted to all three and I have been given what amounts to half of the tuition at all three. This sounds great, and it is, but it does not help me decide which school to go to. All three schools are very good in different ways. I believe Boston College has a great Finance program, Babson has a great Entrepreneurial program and Boston University has a strong Technology focus and General Management program.

The deadline for my decision is coming up and each subsequent day I am leaning toward a different school.

Hopefully these three schools will become irrelevant. I have also applied to MIT Sloan and HBS (Can you tell that I want to stay around Boston?). HBS is a long shot, but if I get an interview I think I will be able to show them that I am a strong leader and a great candidate. I know some MIT and MIT Sloan alumni, so hopefully I will get an interview at Sloan as well. I submitted both applications for the second round. Similar to just about everyone else that applied to these schools in the second round, I am now waiting to hear back from them.

Good Luck to All!
